On Friday, 14th of November one of our club Members (Mitchell Kerlin – U13) and his family had their home totally destroyed by fire.

Thanks to everyone who came to the The Real Streeters Car Club Inc (Phat Engines, Fireball custom fabrication, Moreton Bay Lions AFSC and Harding Excavations) event held at the Club earlier this year or who made a donation to our Welfare & Education fund, $21,482.50 was raised for the Kerlin family — with Rhys Nickalls, Jackson Dickfos and Peter Smith.

The Board would like to ask all members (if you can), to donate to the Kerlin Family project.

The money raised will be given to Les, Lisa and their three children Mitchell, Zac and Monique, to assist them through this difficult time.

In addition, the Board is organising, in conjunction with, members of the Homestead Country Music Club an event  Locals at the Lions, on Friday, 5 December 2014.

Locals at the Lions will be a night filled with entertainment from various local musicians.

Then, in conjunction with, Real Streeters car club, another event Car, Bike & Dyno Show, on Friday, 12 December 2014.  More details about these events will be released soon.

These events will be used to help raise funds for the Kerlin Family.
